The ground rules for shopping at justalovenote.com.
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Welcome! These terms apply when you browse justalovenote.com or place an order. By using the site or purchasing, you agree to them. Just a Love Note is a small handmade shop run by Lauren in Orange, California — so these terms are kept short and human.
Every card is designed and hand-cut individually. Small variations in cutting, placement, and color are part of the handmade charm and aren't defects. Colors on your screen may differ slightly from the finished card.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time (changes never affect an order you've already placed). Payment is processed securely by Stripe; this site never stores your card details. An order is accepted when you receive confirmation of payment. In the rare case an order can't be fulfilled — for example, a pricing error or unavailable materials — it will be refunded in full.
Orders ship from Orange, California within the United States. Handling and delivery times, shipping rates, and the free-shipping threshold are described on the Shipping & Policies page. Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees — carriers occasionally run late.
Because cards are handmade and personal, returns aren't accepted — but if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact me within 14 days of delivery with a photo and I'll send a replacement or refund. Cancellations or changes should be requested within 1 hour of purchase. Custom and personalized items can't be returned or exchanged. Full details are in the FAQ.
Printable cards and SVG files are delivered instantly after payment, so all digital sales are final. Downloads are licensed for personal use only — print as many as you like for yourself, gifts, and your own events, but please don't resell, redistribute, or share the files. For commercial use, get in touch.
All card designs, images, and text on this site are original artwork and the property of Just a Love Note. Please don't copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without written permission.
Custom work begins after we've agreed on the design, price, and timeline by email. Where possible I'll share a proof for your approval before finishing the card.
The site and products are provided in good faith, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, Just a Love Note isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. In any case, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
